Welcome to my blog, everyone. For this first post, I think it makes sense to start with the question I’ve been asked most often - why this genre? After all, those who know me also know that I’ve been a huge fan of metal music for years, so why launch an electronic music project?

As I mentioned in the About Me section, I spent years experimenting with digital metal music. Virtual instruments have become more realistic and expressive year after year, but even today it’s nearly impossible to truly capture the raw, organic nature of metal. The unpredictable little sounds and textures that make it feel so alive - those are hard to replicate. Some people have done a great job, and there are productions that sound amazing… but somehow, it’s still not quite metal. Of course, I could have tried forming a live band, but as a keyboardist living in a small town in Germany, with a family and a demanding full-time profession, the chances were slim. Over time, I let that dream go (almost) entirely. I had no new ideas, and I felt like my obsession with perfecting the sound had drained my ability to actually write songs.

Meanwhile, the big hits of my childhood kept resurfacing - songs I always enjoyed listening to. DJ Bobo, Scooter, E-Type, Sylver, Tiësto, Masterboy, Eiffel 65… I still enjoy these tracks today, even the lesser-known songs that never became hits but became personal favorites when I listened to full albums on cassette.

One of my best childhood friends - now someone I mostly keep in touch with online - was part of my early digital metal project in the 2000s. We called it Enactment. Today he lives in Hungary and has a successful music career under the name Brother Belmont. In 2020, the film Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga came out, and we started talking about how, just like the music of the ’80s had made a big comeback, maybe the ’90s were next in line. We joked about starting a Eurodance project just for fun - with full-on, authentic Eurodance anthems.

That idea never quite took off - but the ’90s did come back in a big way. I already had a few early track ideas on my computer, just waiting for lyrics and vocals. Then one day, I decided to start - solo. I designed the logo and wrote the lyrics for I Will Be There that same day. A few months later, the first song was released, and they’ve been coming ever since. I feel like I’ve rediscovered the ability to bring ideas to life through music. I’ve never felt this inspired and motivated in years - maybe even decades.

That’s the power of Eurodance. I hope it lifts you up the same way it lifts me.
