About me

Hi everyone, I'm Eurodawn, an independent, hobby-level music producer inspired by electronic music from the late 90s and early 2000s, especially Eurodance.

My name is Andras Vincze-Nagy. I was born in Romania in the mid-80s and have been making music since I was about five years old. Back then, I started out with a small one-octave keyboard, and later moved on to a larger one. For as long as I can remember, I've been composing music. Like many others, I loved the hits on MTV and Viva in the 90s, and even back then I tried to analyze and imitate them.

By the end of my teenage years, I became more interested in metal music. I experimented with guitar for a while, but eventually returned to the keyboard. I graduated from high school, and music still remained a serious interest. In the early 2000s, I started making music on the computer, discovering trackers and the first versions of Fruity Loops. There was a short phase when a friend and I experimented with digital metal, but it didn’t last long. What followed were several unproductive years, during which I focused on trying to create the perfect metal sound using the latest VSTs and plugins. I didn’t make much progress.

In the meantime, I graduated from medical school, moved to Germany with my girlfriend, started working in a hospital, and got married. It was a very busy time, but music always remained a part of my life.

Then my two beautiful daughters were born, and life became even busier. Music faded into the background, and for a while, I thought I might never return to it. However, in recent years, as independent music publishing has become more accessible and easier, I started writing songs again in the little free time I have - this time in a completely different style, inspired by the favorite tracks of my youth. The positive feedback from a close circle of friends encouraged me to launch this music project. I hope more and more people will enjoy it.
